Merry Christmas

After a day filled with family, food, and fun (a day that incidentally began at 5:25 this morning), I'd like to wish each and every one of you peace, joy, and the love of good family and friends.

Thank you for sharing a part of my life, and, to those of you who comment, thank you for sharing part of yours in turn. Shayna, Kate, Thordora, Mary P., landismom, Lady M, Lisa R., Teresa, Julia, Ann, and all the others who have become a special part of this blog, I hope your holiday has been as filled with laughter and love as mine (and that it started at a far more reasonable hour).

Merry Christmas to you and the girls!! Ours started at 830am. Blessedly the kids decided that sleeping in was good!

we were lucky and it started at 8.30 too, merry christmas, love and hugs to all of you.

While I'm sure 6:00:01 sounds good to you, K, 8:30 sounds MUCH more like it to me. My kids SET AN ALARM so they can wake at six.

Anyone who needs to set an alarm to be up early Christmas Day -- shouldn't.

I tried to convince them that they could just wake when they woke, but they fell all over themselves with, " But mum, it's TRADITION!!!"

Bah, humbug. :-)

Oh, and Merry Christmas!!!

Yeah, Mary, that's just wrong. At least my Ladies woke up naturally. Well, Diva Girl did, anyway. Zen Baby had a little help from Nyx :)

Aww. Merry Christmas in the city I want to return to!

We only got up at 8. I know that means I'm totally screwed next year. Everyone loved their gifts, and it was a great day. Except for the snow coming today.

It's been a good year meeting so many people online. My husband asked me how I considered people online friends. I just do. :)

Merry Christmas to you too, Kim! I hope the day was fabulous (despite its early beginning)! :D

Merry Christmas to you too Kimberly! Yeah, I sat there in bed for about an hour waiting for Molly to wake up. I think I was more excited than she was. I haven't had the butterfly feeling in my stomach on Christmas since I believed in Santa Claus. It was the best Christmas I've had in many years and I'm still on a high from it...well at least when I walk in the front door of my apt. and am faced with 10,000 toys on the floor..and people are STILL giving Molly presents! Please stop! My house is only 900 SF!!!

A belated Merry Christmas to you, too!

About Me

You say "Single Mom," I say "Solo Mom." In my world, it's all about having your priorities in order, and getting my whites whiter than white is never, ever going to be a priority. Helping my girls paste glitter to their artwork, that's a priority. Sometimes I hide in the bathroom to get a bit of peace and quiet. But I never have to share the kisses.
