T-Minus 6.5 Hours
Today is the Diva Girl's last day of school. As of 3:30 this afternoon, she's free for the summer. Home, for two whole months.
We're going to spend a lot of time at the community pool for swimming lessons and at the community playground program. Splash pads, and cottages, and barbeques, oh my!

Wow, the kids are getting out really late! Is there a day camp you can send her to, for her enjoyment and your sanity!
Yeah how come today is her last day? I thought she would have been out on summer vacation like a month already.

We're Canadian, Gayle. Here, kids go to the end of June, and resume again the day after labour day.
She's got a week of Drama Camp--just day camp--set up for July.

in the uk, they dont break up for another 3 weeks, then start back 6th september, 6 weeks off, or 9 weeks for my son as his playschool breaks up a week before the schools and he doesnt start till 18th september at 'big' school!
Here in Florida the kids have been out since Memorial Day weekend(end of May).
