Chore or Child's Play? It's all in the Perspective, I guess.

"It's my turn, Regan!"

"No! I doin' it!"

"You already had I turn! I want to do it too!"

"No! My turn!"

"Mama! Regan's not sharing!!!!"

What is this fabulous toy that has The Ladies so utterly enthralled? Polly Pocket Jewelry Maker? Elina? Cars Happy Meal Toy?

No. The Ladies are fighting over the toilet brush. Yes, the toilet brush. My seven year-old and my toddler are nearly coming to blows over whose turn it is to scrub the toilet.

I think I need to go video this for future reference in the years to come.

Haha! I LOVE IT! If the ladies lived closer, I might be up for babysitting so that you can have a night to yourself. I'll cook if they clean...

OMG...Priceless!!! I don't know why we even buy them expensive toys when they get the most enjoyment out of regular household items. And that goes for ALL kids.
Tell them that if they are good that next you will let them do the laundry :o!!!! LOL

i love it. it reminded me of a thing my sister and i had over mom's hand lotion, i was 4 she was 2 and half and mom used the jergens hand lotion, boy did that stuff smell good.
it was in the kitchen on a shelf we could not reach,(sure). so i got the kitchen chair and up i go. sis on the floor waiting. i push the pump downout come the lotion, i rub it in, and climb down to sis, give her a squirt, and tell her to rub it in.she instead slaps it on the chair. i climb back up to put it away. coming down she hollers, and i fall off of chair.not hurt i run around table from sis, then to living room. mom says what is going on in there, and i say,"nothing mom sis is making a riot in the kitchen." she was knocking over chairs and hollering, and was mad because i would not give her any more of mommy's lotion.
well of course i got into trouble for doing it, and so did sis for her tantrum, and this was in the 50's, but just last week we laughed about it, my sis and i, and it left us with a happy feeling from the past.

that was priceless, reminds me of my big girl when she was just four, she was arguing with me (she was an only child at that time) about who would hang out the washing on the airing rack. We eventually agreed that I would hold the clothes and she could peg them on and to this day we still do it as a team

About Me

You say "Single Mom," I say "Solo Mom." In my world, it's all about having your priorities in order, and getting my whites whiter than white is never, ever going to be a priority. Helping my girls paste glitter to their artwork, that's a priority. Sometimes I hide in the bathroom to get a bit of peace and quiet. But I never have to share the kisses.
