That's adoreable! My sister and I are nine years apart. I took a picture of her with her pants on her head when she was like 10 months old, and when i had my son she took a similar picture of him. It's like a little tradition in our family now.
Hold tight to these memories. my guess is this is going to be one of your favorite pics when the girls grow up and get married.

i am also a single mother and i come from a society that does not "agree" with single mothers. people do try to be polite but i still get the stares and the whispers almost everywhere i go.

but i am not concerned about that. i am more concerned about what am i going to tell my son why he doesn't have a father when the time comes. how do i know what to tell him? will he be able to handle the truth?

he will realize he is not like every other kid once he starts schooling. although that will only happen in about 4 years (my son is one year old), i am already worried how that will effect him.

my parents, relatives and friends have asked me the same question. i told them i know what to do when the time comes. honestly, i haven't got a clue.

btw, i love your blog. it's really inspiring and helped me in one way of another.

thank you for sharing.

Holy memories! As a kid, my brother and i use to tear around our neighbourhood with underwear on our heads, pretending to be superheros... We also had towels for capes. My parents took pictures. Stylish to say the least!!!

About Me

You say "Single Mom," I say "Solo Mom." In my world, it's all about having your priorities in order, and getting my whites whiter than white is never, ever going to be a priority. Helping my girls paste glitter to their artwork, that's a priority. Sometimes I hide in the bathroom to get a bit of peace and quiet. But I never have to share the kisses.
